The Transportation Loss Prevention and Security Association (TLP&SA) is the premier professional organization dedicated to advancing the practices of claims management, cargo loss prevention, and transportation security across the logistics industry.
Originally established under the American Trucking Associations (ATA) as the National Freight Claim Council, and later the Transportation Loss Prevention and Security Council (TLP&SC), our roots trace back decades. In 2000, TLP&SA was formed as an independent, member-driven association to better serve professionals in a rapidly evolving industry. Since then, we've become a trusted hub for education, networking, and advocacy for anyone involved in the protection and recovery of freight.
